A personal note from D.Monic

Those of you who recently attended the Bush night in Enfield may have been shocked, and surprised, by the announcement that as of 31st of October D.Monic will be no more. Please read on for a personal note from the bands frontman:

D.Monic has reached the end of the line. It’s been an awesome journey and something I wouldn’t change for the world. Sadly other commitments and priorities have gotten in the way with what made this band so special to us all. Our final show is on Halloween night at the Bull & Gate in Kentish town. Over the years this venue has been very supportive of the band so it seemed the obvious place to end it. Joining us on the bill will be Syn X, From Great Height and 9Blind. These bands are some of the best bands in Enfield so I urge you to support them all the way.
On behalf of the other band members (past and present) I would like to thank everyone who ever came to a show, bought a shirt or CD, listened to us on Myspace or told a friend about us. You have been the lifeline and the backbone of this band for many years and words can’t express how truly grateful and appreciative I am.

As usual those wishing to dress to impress are always welcome on what will be the final show at what has been one hell of an era. Hope to see you all there

More Gigs

We have a show coming up next Thursday 1st October at the Standard in Walthamstow, opposite Blackhorse Road tube station. Other bands include Feral and the almighty From Great Height and 9Blind! Entry should be around the £5 mark, remember to bring I.D for the bar! Hope to see you there!

New Enfield Show!

As promised we can now bring details of a fully confirmed gig at the Bush Hill Tavern in Enfield on September 5th. The show will feature the best of the Enfield music scene so please come and show your support for local acts! More details to follow, hope to see you there!

Standard show cancelled, new gig added!

Unfortunately to circumstances beyond our control, the forthcoming gig at the Standard Music Venue has been cancelled. We hope that we will get another chance to work with all the bands at a future show.

BUT after an awesome night with some great bands at The Gaff, we will be returning for a second show on September 11th! More info will be added as we get it!

We are also hoping to bring news soon of an Enfield show, we are doing our best to make it happen so come back for news soon!

The Gaff - Update

News for anyone planning to come see us play at The Gaff on Friday, we will be the 1st band on so please make sure to get to the venue for opening to make sure you dont miss the set. Doors are set to open at 7pm - hope to see you all there!

Two New Gig Dates

We are now pleased to announce that we will be playing two more shows, an all day event at The Standard Music Venue (more details to follow!) and we are very happy to confirm we will be headlining the Halloween show at the Bull and Gate again this year along with SynX 9Blind and From Great Height! More details will follow!

New Date for July!

We will be playing The Gaff in Holloway on Friday 3rd July, more details to follow!

Update for Tottenham chances Gig

There are presold tickets available for the show on Saturday, if you are interested in getting hold of one please email us or contact us through our myspace and we will do our best to get one to you. We also have updated travel information: the nearest tube is tottenham Hale station, and a local map can be found here

Bull and Gate gig scheduled

We've also added a show at awesome venue Bull and Gate for Saturday April 4th, hope to see you all at one of the up coming gigs, more information to come soon!

New gigs announced

We have another 2 gigs scheduled for Feb and March, the first will be at Tottenham Chances Club on Saturday 28th February, the second will be at The Standard Music Venue in Walthamstow on March 26th. Details and other acts will follow - hope to see you all there!

D.Monic to play the Bush

The first D.Monic gig of 09 is scheduled for the Bush Hill Tavern on Jan 31st in Enfield. For those of you new to this venue, its located opposite Bush Hill Park train station! Also playing will be good friends 9Blind so be sure to come check it out, entry tbc!

Success at Bulletbar!

Our first show with Chris supporting Godamn Superstar, the official Marilyn Manson European Tribute band, was a great night! We want to thank everyone who came down and made it such an amazing night and for supporting us! It was also our first time performing new song Leech! For those of you who couldn't make it we hope to see you at one of our upcoming shows!

Gig Reminder!

Don't forget we have another 2 shows lined up, one of 12th September at Bush Hill Tavern. The venue is located opposite Bush Hill Park train station.
